About
Why SMPL exists
Our mission
SMPL exists for the people who built something real where they live. The mom-and-pop shops, the operator running a couple of routes and doing it well, the backbone of their own towns. They don't lose because they're worse at the work. They lose because a national brand can walk into their hometown, spend a few extra dollars, and take the market share they spent their whole life building. On ad budget alone, that's a fight the local owner can never win.
AI is where that changes. When someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI who to call, it isn't an auction. It's about who the engines trust and recommend, and that is earned, not bought. Right now, while it's new and most businesses don't even see the value yet, the local owner can get out ahead and become the answer, before the giants notice and lock it up with money. We're here to make sure the people who built these towns are the ones recommended in them.
A note from the founder
I have spent years on the labor side of small-business work. Signing agent appointments, junk removal jobs, website builds. I watched the same pattern repeat: a local business owner pays an agency a monthly retainer, the agency owns the domain, the accounts, the pixels. When the work does not produce, the owner cancels and starts over somewhere else that rebuilds from scratch. The owner pays for the same setup three or four times in a few years and never owns the asset. SMPL was built against that model.
We charge flat fees. You own everything we build, in your name, on your accounts, with keys handed over on delivery. You work with one consistent point of contact from the first call through delivery and after. Not a call center rotation, not a different account coordinator every quarter. The team doing your work is small and senior by design. If a service is not the right fit for where your business is right now, we say so. If recurring advertising does not produce net margin above its fee within 90 days, we re-scope or end it. We do not take on every business that reaches out.

How we are different
The parts other agencies leave out.
You own everything.
Your site, your accounts, your data, your name. Keys on delivery. If you leave, you leave with all of it.
No long contracts.
The 30/60/90 curve is the reason to stay. If it stops moving, you should leave, and we built it so you can.
One senior contact.
Not a rotating cast of juniors. The person you talk to is the person doing the thinking.
We will tell you no.
If a rung does not fit you yet, we say so. We would rather scope you down than oversell you.
